This issue explores the critical need to bridge the gap in neurotrauma care, focusing on the significant trauma burden faced by low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). Despite advancements in medical technology and neurosurgical techniques, LMICs often struggle with limited resources and access to specialized care, resulting in higher rates of morbidity and mortality from neurotrauma. Through a series of articles, we examine innovative strategies, collaborative efforts, and capacity-building initiatives aimed at improving neurotrauma management in these regions. By highlighting success stories and ongoing challenges, we aim to foster a deeper understanding of the global disparities in neurotrauma care and inspire actionable solutions to enhance outcomes for patients worldwide.
