APOPLEJÍA PITUITARIA ASOCIADA A INFARTO EN TERRITORIO DE LA ARTERIA CEREBRAL ANTERIOR: PRESENTACIÓN DE UN CASO CLÍNICO Y REVISIÓN DE LA LITERATURA

La apoplejía pituitaria es una patología poco frecuente que afecta aproximadamente al 0,2 a 0,6% de la población general y al 2 al 12% de lesiones hipofisiarias (5). Usualmente su etiología se debe a un infarto hemorrágico, siendo su relación con adenomas hipofisarios poco frecuente, y su asociación con infarto cerebral isquémico, reportada en pocos casos en la literatura. Se reporta un caso clínico de un hombre de 33 años en quien se diagnóstica la presencia de apoplejía pituitaria asociada a infarto isquémico de arteria cerebral anterior, se revisa la literatura reportada de dicha entidad.
