TUMOR NEUROEPITELIAL POLIMORFO JUVENIL DE BAJO GRADO: REPORTE DE CASO Y REVISION DE LA LITERATURA

El tumor neuroepitelial polimorfo juvenil de bajo grado es un tumor recientemente descrito, actualmente, hay únicamente 5 reportes de caso en la literatura previos a esta publicación; este tipo de tumor es considerado como un tumor cerebral de bajo grado, el cual muestra características celulares histologías similares a los oligodendrogliomas, con marcada e intensa expresión para CD34 y ausencia de codeleción 1p/19q, además de esto, tiene un perfil de metilación y alteraciones genéticas que lo hacen diferente al resto de tumores gliales de bajo grado.
