The complexity of tumor resection has led to the search for tools to widen its safety margin, neuronavigation is a quality standard
in the excision of brain tumors, this technique can be performed by magnetic resonance imaging, computed axial tomography,
ultrasound, etc. Advanced stereotactic techniques are not available in resource-limited situations. Ultrasound represents a safe,
cost-effective, reproducible and high image quality option that can be used as an alternative to stereotaxy. We present a clinical
case where ultrasound was used to perform neuronavigation in the excision of a supratentorial tumor, the ultrasound guidance
was performed by an intensivist expert in ultrasonography. Ultrasound was used to identify the tumor, visualize vascularization,
real-time guidance of its excision and complete resection. Patient with favorable evolution.
